Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Staff Attorney to assist the Chief Legal Officer and provide drafting, research, and records management support.

The role focuses on drafting legal documents and templates, maintaining corporate records, and guiding legal considerations for Navitus’ initiatives. Responsibilities include preparing memorandums, advising on policy implications, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Completion of a law degree through an accredited program is required.
• License to practice law in Wisconsin preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience required.
• Ability to participate in and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with staff.

Responsibilities

• Imparts Navitus and CQI values and facilitates their integration in CQI activities.
• Understands, embraces CQI principles and applies them.
• Prepares additional legal documents, such as memorandums and correspondence.
• Guides development of Navitus initiatives from a legal perspective and provides legal guidance on issues.
• Provides legal counsel to Navitus staff on implications of business objectives and policy awareness.
• Researches statutes, judicial decisions, contracts, and legal codes.
• Files legal documents and correspondence in digital and physical filing systems.
• Develops processes for indexing and filing of legal documents and managing contracts.
• Other duties as assigned.
