Job summary

Emerson is hiring a Senior Associate General Counsel, Regulatory Compliance to lead legal strategy on data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and related regulatory matters across our US operations. The role partners with IT, HR, Marketing, Supply Chain and Product Development to ensure global compliance and scalable programs.

The successful candidate will manage a regional legal team, collaborate with outside counsel, and train colleagues to stay ahead of evolving laws.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on complex regulatory matters in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, cybersecurity and technology laws.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides senior level legal advice to business units on complex matters including cybersecurity, privacy, AI, records management, and cross-border transfers.
• Leads and develops a regional team of legal professionals and coordinates with outside counsel.
• Oversees regulatory compliance initiatives and training across the organization.
• Manages relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align legal strategy with business goals.
• Monitors evolving privacy and cybersecurity laws and provides timely updates to management.
