Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Senior Associate General Counsel, Regulatory Compliance to lead legal strategy on data privacy, cybersecurity, and related regulatory matters across global business units. You will mentor a regional legal team and coordinate with outside counsel to ensure compliance with Emerson policies and laws.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in the United States.
• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Experience advising executives on privacy and technology matters preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level legal guidance on privacy, cybersecurity, and related regulations.
• Lead and develop a regional team of legal professionals and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Advise IT, HR, Marketing, Supply Chain and Product teams on regulatory matters.
• Train personnel on applicable regulations and best practices.
• Monitor evolving privacy and tech laws and manage risk for the business.
• Support post-acquisition integrations from a regulatory compliance perspective.
