Job summary

Emerson seeks a Senior Associate General Counsel, Regulatory Compliance to lead global privacy, cybersecurity and related regulatory programs from a US office. You will provide strategic legal guidance to IT, HR, Marketing, Supply Chain and Product Development, partnering with senior leadership to ensure compliance worldwide.

You will build and oversee a regional legal team, manage outside counsel, train business units, monitor evolving laws, and help implement policy across divisions.

Qualifications

• Commensurate with the level, experience in commercial and international field.
• Licensed to practice law with a degree from an accredited law school.
• Willingness to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
• Strong business acumen and practical solution-finding mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior legal advice on complex regulatory matters including cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI.
• Lead regional team of legal professionals and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Train business units on applicable regulations and best practices.
• Monitor evolving privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations.
• Oversee post-acquisition legal integrations and policy implementations.
