Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Registrar to provide strategic and operational leadership for all registrar functions at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

You will oversee academic records, enrollment, scheduling, grading, and degree certification within a decentralized environment, reporting to the Associate Dean for Student Services. This role requires building a data-driven enrollment strategy, maintaining robust degree audit infrastructure, and guiding a team through major

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Master’s degree in relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and growth.
• Partner with departmental academic administrators to coordinate registration, degree progress, and policy implementation.
• Develop enrollment reports and dashboards to support decision-making for the Dean’s Office and leadership.
• Standardize and improve student-facing processes and self-service tools.
• Oversee integrity, accuracy, and security of student records in FERPA compliance.
• Manage all academic record functions including grading, transcripts, and degree certifications.
