Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, and evaluation using the Nursing Process.
• Initiates and updates a written nursing plan of care.
• Coordinates care with patient, family and health team.
• Performs clinical nursing skills and administers medications.
• Delegates duties and coordinates ancillary staff.
• Documents patient status and plan of care in the medical record.
• Communicates status to physicians and care team.
• Educates patient and family using teaching principles.
