Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required; specialty certifications upon hire may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilization of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assess patient needs, determine priorities, and reassess as conditions change.
• Develop and update written nursing plans of care and coordinate with health team.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments; respond to emergencies.
• Communicate patient status and care plan; document and educate patients and families.
• Coordinate daily patient care and activities with ancillary staff and disciplines.
• Participate in patient teaching, discharge planning, and quality improvement activities.
