GBMC HealthCare is seeking aRegistered Nurse to provide direct patient care under general supervision in our Maryland facility. An associate degree in nursing is required, along with an active Maryland RN license and CPR certification.

Formación

• Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registration with Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse.
• Healthcare Provider CPR biennial.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) required upon hire for specialty areas.
• One-year registered nurse experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and formulate nursing diagnoses using the Nursing Process.
• Plan and implement a written nursing care plan incorporating clinical and psychosocial principles.
• Coordinate with patient, family and health team for hospital and post-discharge care.
• Perform clinical nursing skills independently and administer medications and IV therapy.
• Document patient status and plan of care in the medical record and communicate with physicians and staff.
• Precept and mentor new staff when competent, and support RN 3 activities as applicable.
