Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a Senior Manager, Fleet Operations to lead daily Swire Fleet Maintenance activities and manage 3rd party vendors. You will ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective repairs for all fleet equipment and supervise preventive maintenance programs across locations.

You will drive quality control audits, documentation accuracy, and training initiatives while aligning with company policies, regulations, and annual budgets.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school required
• 5+ years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience in mechanics and Heavy Equipment repair required
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance methods, equipment, techniques, parts, processes, pricing, suppliers, industry standards and best practices used in vehicle repair and maintenance
• Knowledge of DOT laws, federal regulations, best practices, fleet makes & models, specifications, operations, and industry standards regarding large fleet equipment
• Skilled in problem definition, data collection, fact establishment, and valid conclusion drawing
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to lead others and provide direction in a clear and concise manner; ability to develop others and ensure career growth opportunities exist for team members
• Ability to manage costs effectively; ability to create and maintain annual cost budget
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule if needed
• Travel requirements 40%-50%

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Swire Fleet Maintenance and manage 3rd party vendors
• Ensure fleet repairs and maintenance are safe and cost-effective
• Align preventive maintenance programs
• Perform quality control audits of repairs and services
• Ensure documentation accuracy for maintenance activities
• Conduct fleet training classes and develop team
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Prepare vehicles for transfer or disposal
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and assess vendor performance
• Collaborate with Safety on fleet incidents
• Review/authorize repairs and issue POs with distribution centers
• Perform other duties as assigned
