Job summary

YA Group is seeking a Regional Contents Consultant to evaluate and document complex contents losses, manage inventories, and support restoration versus total-loss decisions for insurance clients and insureds.

You will lead field work, prepare valuation reports, coordinate with clients and vendors, and mentor junior staff, with travel to large-loss sites as needed and a strong emphasis on accuracy and defensible work products.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in contents restoration and large-loss handling.
• Experience evaluating inventories and complex contents losses.
• Knowledge of RCV and ACV methodologies; depreciation awareness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and field assessments of contents and business personal property.
• Develop and oversee detailed physical inventories with photos, descriptions, quantities, and conditions.
• Evaluate restoration versus total loss and advise on salvageability and replacements.
• Review documentation: inventories, invoices, and photos; perform audits.
• Prepare preliminary reports and valuation documents; support litigation and pre-loss assessments.
