Job summary

YA Group is seeking a Regional Contents Consultant to provide high-quality consulting on contents and business personal property losses for clients including insurers and adjusters. You will evaluate complex losses, oversee inventories, and advise on restoration versus replacement while coordinating with clients and YA teams.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to travel for deployments to large-loss assignments.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant contents restoration or large-loss experience.
• Strong understanding of contents and business personal property claims (inventory, restoration, total-loss).
• Experience documenting complex losses and inventories.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site inspections and field assessments of contents and property.
• Develops detailed inventories with photos, descriptions, quantities, and condition.
• Evaluates restoration versus total loss and advises on salvageability and replacement.
• Reviews inventories, estimates, invoices, and receipts for accuracy.
• Performs RCV/ACV valuation, inventory verification, reconciliation, audits.
• Supports total-loss inventory recreation when needed.
• Manages field operations and project workflows on large assignments.
• Prepares preliminary reports, ROM assessments, inventories, and valuation reports.
• Communicates with clients, adjusters, insureds, contractors, and vendors.
• Leads client meetings and provides updates on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinates with internal teams to ensure quality work products.
