Job summary

YA is seeking a Regional Contents Consultant to deliver high-quality consulting on contents and business personal property losses for clients including insurance companies, TPAs, independent adjusters, businesses, and insureds. You will conduct on-site inspections, prepare inventories, assess restoration versus total loss, and contribute to client deliverables.

This role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to travel to large-loss sites.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant contents restoration, contents consulting or large-loss experience.
• Strong understanding of RCv/ACV depreciation and valuation methods.
• Experience documenting complex residential and commercial losses and inventories.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site inspections and field assessments of contents and business personal property.
• Develops and oversees detailed physical inventories with photos, descriptions, quantities and conditions.
• Evaluates restoration versus total loss and provides salvageability recommendations.
• Reviews inventories, estimates, invoices, and other claim documentation.
• Performs RCV/ACV valuation, inventory verification, reconciliation, and audits.
• Supports total-loss inventory recreation when contents are destroyed or unavailable.
• Manages field operations and project workflows on large complex assignments.
• Prepares preliminary reports, ROM assessments, inventories, and valuation reports.
• Communicates with clients, adjusters, insureds, contractors, and vendors regularly.
• Leads client meetings and provides updates on scope, timelines, findings, and deliverables.
• Coordinates with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely work products.
• Provides mentorship and quality control review of junior consultant work.
• Maintains organized job files and project records.
