Job summary

World Relief seeks an experienced Program Officer to support the U.S. refugee resettlement network through strong program administration and post‑arrival resettlement initiatives.

You will lead day‑to‑day case management, ensure data integrity in IRIS/Dynamics, and monitor grant compliance while collaborating across offices nationwide. • At least 2 years’ experience working in resettlement.

• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to perform research & data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience working in a grant‑compliance context.
• Domestic travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• General Area of Responsibilities for Program Officer.
• Manage day-to-day required case management tasks and provide technical assistance for post-allocation.
• Manage pre-arrival reports and adhere to timeframes.
• Maintain accuracy of current database (e.g. IRIS, Dynamics) and suggest upgrades.
• Develop monitoring framework and data collection around grant compliance.
• Develop and maintain expertise in program areas and serve as primary contact.
• Review field office reports and provide timely feedback.
• Oversee beneficiary feedback survey and quarterly data summaries.
• Collaborate on annual Training Plan with PIR Training Officer.
• Identify pre- and post-arrival training needs and develop content.
• Assist in training home office and field office team members as needed.
• Revise program procedures, tools, and staff manuals.
• Participate in PIR Community of Practice and cross-departmental meetings.
• Report program strengths/weaknesses to Associate Director and plan steps.
• Support a portfolio of field offices and ensure program compliance.
• Collaborate with team to meet programmatic needs and ensure quality.
• Build rapport with local staff to strengthen collaboration.
• Provide onboarding for new managers and IR staff.
• Conduct annual PC Site Profile reviews for PC-funded staff.
• Host quarterly check-ins with managers to promote accountability.
• Maintain home office administrative records for portfolio offices.
• Conduct PC IR monitoring visits and desk audits.
• Participate in additional Communities of Practice.
