Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 5-7 years of commercial refrigeration maintenance and repair experience required.
• Experience supporting grocery, food production, restaurant, hospitality, or similar commercial environments preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot commercial refrigeration systems, walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration, HVAC, and related mechanical equipment.
• Install, replace, and commission refrigeration components and equipment as needed.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Respond to emergency equipment failures to minimize operational downtime.
• Maintain accurate service, repair, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with operations management and outside vendors when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Address and resolve maintenance tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop self-help troubleshooting materials and supportive guides for associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
