Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a skilled Service Technician to repair and overhaul commercial refrigeration, heating and ventilation systems for diverse clients, including supermarkets. You will work across supermarkets and other facilities, delivering safe, reliable service with a focus on customer satisfaction.

You must have EPA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 3 years of experience. A valid driver’s license and on-call availability are required, with ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with supermarket refrigeration equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs.
• Repair equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose malfunctions.
• Test malfunctioning systems using electrical/mechanical skills.
• Maintain records of work history and service tickets.
• Assist with pickup, delivery, and installation of cases.
• Support minor construction and startups of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
