Job summary

frēijē Engineered Solutions Company is hiring a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician in Ohio. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration equipment and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.

You'll document work on a mobile device, quote repairs, and explain issues and recommendations to customers while maintaining safety and professionalism. Growth opportunities and a strong team ethos are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HVAC/R service technician experience
• EPA certification (Type I & II) minimum
• High level of safety and security required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with others to complete tasks
• Understanding and broad knowledge of tools, safety, and electronic equipment within this trade
• Must be punctual, adhere to daily schedule and able to handle schedule changes
• Ability to lift 75lbs, use ladders, and aerial lifts
• Valid driver's license, insurable driving record, and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Inspect/troubleshoot/evaluate/ repairs of refrigeration equipment
• Preventive maintenance of refrigeration equipment
• Document work performed and submit report on smart device (IPAD or phone)
• Assist with providing information to quote various repair work
• Explain refrigeration issues and recommendations for repairs with customers
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Build strong customer relationships; build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.
