Job summary

frēijē Engineered Solutions Company in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair refrigeration equipment and perform preventive maintenance. You will document work on a mobile device, quote repairs, explain issues to customers and uphold safety procedures, while building strong customer relationships.

A minimum of 5 years in the field and EPA Type I/II certification are required, with a valid driver's license and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC/R service technician experience.
• EPA Type I & II certification required.
• Strong safety and security practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and operate ladders/aerial lifts.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair refrigeration equipment.
• Preventive maintenance of refrigeration equipment.
• Document work on smart device and submit report.
• Assist with providing information to quote repairs.
• Explain refrigeration issues and recommendations to customers.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
