Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Senior Refrigeration Systems Engineer to lead design, optimization, and lifecycle management of complex refrigeration and facility systems. You will collaborate across Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety in multiple locations.

This remote role requires travel to distribution centers and provides an annual incentive plan, with benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 5 years of industrial refrigeration or cold chain engineering experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems, HVAC/mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience with multi-site operations and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management of facility/operational refrigeration systems.
• Provide advanced technical support for infrastructure, automation, controls, mechanical, electrical systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and external vendors on system improvements.
