CoolSys in Tampa, FL is seeking a skilled HVAC refrigeration technician to repair and overhaul commercial refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems for diverse clients. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely service.

Formación

• High school diploma/GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single systems and rack systems; experience with display cases and walk-in boxes is helpful.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is a basic requirement.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, and sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and overhaul equipment including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and controls safely and efficiently.
• Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance by diagnosing malfunctions and deficiencies.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical/mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history.
• Process job tickets and work orders for department workflow.
• Assist with pickup, delivery, and installation of cases.
• Perform minor construction and startups of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
