CoolSys is seeking a seasoned Service Technician to repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment for diverse customers in the HVAC industry. You will work across compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices with safety and quality in mind.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, EPA certification, and the ability to lift 60 lbs. On-call availability and a valid driving record are essential for independent work across sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EPA certification mandatory.
• EPA certification required; trade school certification a plus.
• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
• Experience with refrigeration in convenience stores or supermarkets is a plus.
• Familiar with single and rack systems; display cases and walk-in boxes helpful.
• Must have good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and sit/stand for several hours.

Responsabilités

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, HVAC, and related equipment.
• Repair equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers safely.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose malfunctions.
• Test systems with electrical/mechanical methods.
• Maintain records of work history.
• Process job tickets and work orders.
• Assist with picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Participate in install/startups of new equipment.
• Drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
