Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; trade program/technical school preferred.
• 5+ years in commercial building construction or related trades.
• Knowledge of construction principles and labor-hour efficiency.
• Ability to organize tasks and prioritize work.
• Good judgment in assignments and clear guidance to others.
• Ability to maintain labor-hour budgets and request change orders as needed.
• Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with safety policies.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools (email, word processing, project planning).

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor the project crew on assigned projects.
• Report on job status and performance to stakeholders.
• Control project costs and track schedules.
• Develop productive relationships with peers, customers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure PPE use and safety behavior on site.
• Ensure compliance with installation policies, safety, and attendance.
• Oversee 3rd party resources when needed.
• Direct and supervise apprentices and journeymen on projects.
