CoolSys - Refrigeration and HVAC Systems in Houston, TX, seeks an experienced project lead to guide apprentices and journeymen on commercial construction projects. You will prioritize tasks, coordinate trades, and ensure safety and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; trade program or technical school is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or related trade.
• Knowledge of construction principles and efficient labor-hour use.
• Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to give clear instructions and guidance as needed.
• Ability to maintain project labor hours within limits and handle change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical resources on assigned projects.
• Report on job status and performance.
• Control project costs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with peers, customers, GCs, and subcontractors.
• Ensure PPE use and safe behavior by all employees.
• Ensure compliance with installation policies, safety and attendance policies.
• May oversee 3rd party resources.
• Direct and oversee work of apprentices and journeymen on projects.
