Walmart in Arroyo Grande, CA is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC systems. You will use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete service tasks and respond to emergencies, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role requires extensive refrigeration experience, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time position at our local store.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Option 1: 3+ years HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience; Option 2: 6+ years experience with AAS in HVAC/R.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize work order system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations in line with Walmart safety policy.
