Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local retail store team in Oxnard, CA. The role oversees repair work and asset maintenance for Walmart Refrigeration HVAC systems using commercial tools and safety practices.

Candidates should have extensive rack refrigeration experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. This on-site position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for career growth within Walmart facilities management.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC/refrigeration skills and tools.
• Receive and document repair work orders using the work order system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.
