Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment, using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

The role supports a Stores and Store associates by managing repair work orders, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with OSHA/EPA guidelines, while lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights as needed.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using relevant tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair activities and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies.
