Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair Refrigeration HVAC systems across Walmart facilities. You will use a range of hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to complete service requests and respond to emergencies, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive experience in commercial refrigeration, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and physical ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by following safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently
