Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our Fresno, CA stores. You will support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems, using hand and power tools, digital devices, and work-order software to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Minimum qualifications include 10 years in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand, digital, and power tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
