Job summary

Hunt Consolidated in Alabama is seeking a Senior Technical Support professional to oversee refinery operations, advise management and engineering, and train staff. The role demands deep refinery knowledge and leadership.

You will perform design reviews, troubleshoot field issues, and lead long-range projects. This position requires a BS in engineering, 8+ years of refinery experience, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

BS in engineering from an accredited college.
8+ years in refinery/petrochemical experience.
Experience in refinery planning or process equipment design.
Demonstrates leadership in improving income generation and reducing costs.
Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
Effective at working with management and engineers.
Good written and verbal communication; ability to lead training.
Familiarity with refinery process software and design tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor refinery operations and advise management on issues.
Assist in planning, troubleshooting, unit support, and staff training.
Provide technical reviews of designs, MOC's, and change orders.
Identify refinery changes to improve safety, reliability, profitability, and compliance.
Coordinate long-range functions such as PSM programs and major projects.
