Job summary

Hunt Refining Company in Alabama is seeking an operator or technician to support refinery safety, instrumentation and daily process tasks. You will learn locations of safety equipment, respond to emergencies, and assist with keeping units and equipment clean and hazard-free.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, basic maintenance ability, and the initiative to work toward refinery goals. Training includes safety procedures, LOTO and process monitoring.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Capable of performing basic maintenance tasks.
• Must have the initiative to work toward refinery goals.
• Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot operations problems.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participates in Emergency Drill Parties.
• Lears n/a safety policies and their use in all work activities (Example- LOTO).
• Learns and/or knows locations of safety equipment and related items.
• Responds to callouts and emergency situations.
• Keeps unit and equipment clean and hazard free.
• Writes work orders as needed and notifies Unit Leader.
• Reads logs and electronic communication to review unit operation.
