Job summary

Hunt International Energy Svc seeks a Process Engineer III to improve safety, reliability, cost efficiency, and profitability of refinery units. You will design improvements, obtain approvals, support construction, commission, and troubleshoot changes.

As a primary technical contact, you will coordinate with multiple refinery areas, lead root-cause analyses, and mentor technical staff. On-site role requiring strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• BS in chemical engineering from a four-year college or university.
• 5–8 years related experience in refining or chemical industry.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day process operations and advise management of issues.
• Identify process limitations, troubleshoot and lead resolutions.
• Track operational data trends to flag problems early.
• Assist in unit start-up, shutdown and maintenance prep.
• Reduce costs through energy conservation and unit optimization.
• Propose design/operational changes to improve processes.
• Provide process/technical expertise across refinery areas and other units.
• Lead root cause analysis discussions and mentor staff.
