Job summary

Hunt Consolidated is seeking a Mechanical/Civil Engineer to provide on-demand support for refinery operations, maintenance, and turnarounds. The role involves developing technical solutions with cost and performance considerations and preparing specifications for equipment work.

You will lead project engineering efforts for new construction or revamps, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to improving reliability and safety in the refinery environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–6 years in a Petroleum Refinery, Chemical Plant, or related industrial experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; ability to lead projects and coordinate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-demand mechanical engineering support for operations, maintenance, and turnarounds.
• Develop technical solutions based on cost-benefit analysis and refinery impact.
• Prepare specs, drawings, bid packages and cost estimates for equipment repair or replacement.
• Lead project engineering activities for new construction and revamps.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations and maintenance to improve reliability and operability.
