Phillips 66 is seeking a Refinery and Energy Asset Strategist (Sr. Manager) to lead forecasting of operational rates and outages across Americas energy assets.

The role interfaces with trading, regional analysts, and market strategists to deliver insights and supports a small team including one direct report on TAR tracking. The position requires leadership, strong quantitative skills, and a track record in refining or trading, with a base salary described below and eligibility for a commercial

Competenze

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 6+ years of commercial/trading, refining, or related energy industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Mansioni

• Communicate refinery, NGL and Renewable asset operations and market insights.
• Lead development of internal asset database and tools for throughput forecasts.
• Directly supervise a report tracking TARs across refineries and energy assets.
• Maintain real-time refinery/asset throughput forecasts for demand and supply balances.
• Aggregate and reconcile internal/external data (capacity changes, yields, outages).
• Collaborate with regional/global teams to integrate forecasts into trading balances.
• Develop forward-looking predictive models for margins and asset utilization.
• Stay informed on external market analyst views and incorporate into analysis.
• Synthesize regional themes into actionable insights for trade ideas.
• Drive continuous improvement of forecast/outage models and processes.
• Lead ad-hoc projects to support trading ideas and market fundamentals.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and development for the direct report.
