Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Sr. Engineer II, Asset to provide technical support for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of liquid pipelines, storage tanks, and terminal facilities across the Midstream Central Region.

You will troubleshoot, analyze failures, and develop recommendations to improve performance and asset strategy. The role collaborates with Operations, EHS, Integrity, Reliability and Commercial teams, performing hydraulic modeling and project scoping, with a focus on safety and

Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline
5 or more years of engineering experience
Valid driver’s license
Willing and able to travel to field and training locations
Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Monitor pipeline and terminal system performance and propose improvements to reliability and efficiency
Provide technical support for troubleshooting process problems with operations and maintenance teams
Make decisions involving technical and economic evaluations and facility upgrades
Develop hydraulic models and simulations for planning and optimization
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, regulations and safety objectives
Support development engineers on a range of projects with stakeholders
Provide pipeline integrity management and PSM program support
