Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Sr. Advisor II, Commercial Data Engineering in Houston/Bartlesville to develop and maintain data solutions that empower Market Analysts, Strategists, and Traders. You will drive data quality, build curated data products, and implement reusable transformations across the Commercial organization.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in finance or energy, plus 5+ years with SQL and Python. Experience with Databricks and Azure tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• 1+ years in the finance or energy industry.
• 5 years of experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience with Databricks, Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tools and analyses to improve information across the global Commercial organization.
• Own data quality: completeness, mapping, transformation checks, duplication and history validation.
• Build and maintain silver and gold data products for commercial domains (outages, ship tracking, plant capacity and runs, market prices, balances).
• Implement standardized, reusable transformations so calculations are defined once and consistent across desks.
