Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 10+ years of broad, relevant professional experience in strategy, policy, or related field.
• 6+ years of managerial experience planning and managing resources within policy framework.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-aligned strategy and policy development for Refining, translating mission and priorities into objectives and actionable plans.
• Shape long-range and near-term strategy through rigorous analysis of assets, markets, regulations, technology, and operations.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives from framing to execution and benefits realization.
• Make recommendations on strategic options, operating models, and capital allocation to drive decisions.
• Partner across refining operations, commercial, and corporate teams to align priorities and create integrated solutions.
• Build organizational capability by setting direction, coaching leaders, and delivering a shared vision.
• Advise leaders on governance and strategic issues, representing the function with credibility.
• Establish planning, budgeting, and performance-management routines to connect strategy to resource decisions.
