Job summary

Labcorp in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Senior Reference Test Clerk to join our team. The role supports reference testing labs, clients, and patients with accurate documentation and timely communication.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preference for individuals who have 3+ months of specimen processing or medical/laboratory experience. Weekend rotation and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ months of specimen processing experience preferred.
• 3+ months of medical or laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between reference testing labs, clients, and patients.
• Resolve internal and external customer requests via calls, chat, and email.
• Communicate with customers in a respectful and professional manner.
• Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
• Provide customer education and information as needed.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Transcribe reports from reference labs into Labcorp systems.
• Coordinate shipment of specimens using various logistics providers.
