Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Senior Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Raritan, NJ. The role involves acting as a liaison between reference testing labs, clients, and patients, and handling requests via calls, chat, and email.

Responsibilities include transcribing reports, preparing specimens, and ensuring accurate labeling and routing of samples to appropriate Labcorp systems and locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.
• Comfortability with handling biological specimens.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the reference testing labs, clients, and patients.
• Resolve internal & external Customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications.
• Transcribe reports from reference labs into Labcorp systems.
• Prepare & triage specimens for analysis.
• Accurately identify specimens.
