Job summary

DirectViz Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Red Team Penetration Tester III to conduct advanced engagements and simulate real-world threats across diverse environments. The role requires expert offensive security capabilities, scripting in multiple languages, and hands-on use of industry tools.

The ideal candidate has seven years of experience, an active TS/SCI clearance, and a strong background in threat emulation, exploit development, and AD‑based lateral movement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, Cyber Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7 years of full‑time penetration testing or offensive cyber operations experience.
• Experience with Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, Cobalt Strike and exploit development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document red team engagements and penetration tests.
• Emulate advanced threat behaviors to evaluate defenses.
• Develop and utilize tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, and Cobalt Strike.
• Identify gaps in security tools and defenses across OSes including Linux, Windows, and macOS.
• Utilize Active Directory to simulate lateral movement and privilege escalation.
• Apply programming or scripting in at least two languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, C#).
• Collaborate with Blue Teams and SOC to provide findings and remediation recommendations.
