Job summary

DirectViz Solutions, LLC (DVS) is seeking a highly skilled Red Team Penetration Tester III to join our cybersecurity team in the United States. The role involves advanced penetration testing, threat emulation, and reporting across diverse environments.

ACTIVE TS/SCI IS REQUIRED. The candidate will utilize tools like Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, and Cobalt Strike, and will need expertise across Linux, Windows, macOS, Active Directory, and programming in two languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, Cyber Engineering, Information Tech, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• CSSP Auditor certification and OSCP/OSCE/OSEE/OSWP alternatives are required or preferred.
• Seven years of full-time penetration testing or offensive cyber operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document advanced red team engagements and penetration tests.
• Emulate APT behaviors to evaluate enterprise defenses.
• Develop and utilize tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, and Cobalt Strike.
• Perform exploit development and scripting to mimic threat actor capabilities.
• Identify gaps in tools, processes, and defensive technologies.
• Work with Linux, Windows, and macOS; use Active Directory for lateral movement simulations.
• Apply programming or scripting in at least two languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, C#).
• Collaborate with Blue Teams and SOC to provide findings and remediation recommendations.
