Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Red Team Operator to lead advanced offensive security operations, threat emulation exercises, and adversarial simulations across enterprise systems, cloud environments, and physical security controls.

As a technical leader, you will mentor junior staff, develop custom capabilities, and collaborate with security and business stakeholders to strengthen detection, response, and risk management capabilities. This role requires working from a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years experience in information security.
• Experience leading Red Team engagements and threat emulation exercises.
• Advanced exploit development and custom tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat emulation, Red Team, and adversarial simulations across enterprise environments.
• Develop custom tools, payloads, exploits, and automation for complex operations.
• Research emerging threats and attacker methodologies to enhance capabilities.
• Design multi-stage attack scenarios to test security controls and response processes.
• Produce executive and technical reports detailing attack chains, risk, and remediation.
• Serve as SME to security operations, detection engineering, and threat hunting teams.
• Lead purple team engagements to validate detection coverage.
• Mentor junior operators and contribute to standards and best practices.
• Drive automation and process improvements across offensive security programs.
