Job summary

Robinhood seeks an experienced security professional to lead offensive security efforts from Denver. You will conduct red team operations, threat modeling, and pen tests across applications, cloud, and on‑prem environments, mentoring teammates and communicating risks to engineers and executives.

This role requires deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, cloud-native stacks, scripting (Python/Go/JS), and collaboration with detection, incident response, and security architecture teams to strengthen

Qualifications

• 8+ years of red team operations or advanced pen testing experience.
• Experience mentoring or supporting security engineers.
• Strong ability to communicate findings to engineers and executives.
• Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, and modern software stacks.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize security findings and projects across the company.
• Mentor Offensive Security team members.
• Plan and execute red team exercises and simulated attacks.
• Perform threat modeling and penetration testing across apps, infra, and cloud.
• Develop scripts/tools to automate security testing.
• Coordinate with detection/response to improve incident readiness.
• Lead security incidents when needed.
• Participate in adversarial simulations with security teams.
