JOB TITLE: Senior Recruitment Specialist

LOCATION: Somerset, NJ

EXPERIENCE: 4 - 6 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Recruiter with a strong background in both IT and Non-IT recruitment to lead hiring efforts, manage a team of recruiters, and coordinate closely with client projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic hiring initiatives, maintaining a high-performing recruitment team, and ensuring smooth collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Management (IT & Non-IT)

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for both IT and Non-IT positions across various domains.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using job portals, professional networks, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct screening, interviews, and candidate evaluations to ensure quality and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for multiple roles.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters by providing training, setting KPIs, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Assign roles based on recruiter expertise (IT/Non-IT) and ensure timely delivery of recruitment mandates.
  • Promote collaboration and resolve internal team challenges proactively.

Client & Project Coordination

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and the recruitment team for understanding project requirements and workforce needs.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to track progress, manage expectations, and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Translate client needs into actionable recruitment strategies and workflows.

Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report key hiring metrics including TAT, quality-of-hire, and cost-per-hire.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance candidate experience.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment processes, documentation, and internal policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum (4 -6 years) of hands-on experience in both IT and Non-IT recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced or project-based environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a recruitment team.
  • Strong knowledge of various sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple roles with different skill sets and levels of complexity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a staffing agency or managing recruitment for diverse industries.
  • Exposure to client management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with ATS, CRM, and recruitment analytics tools.
