Job summary

StaffBright in Detroit is seeking a Recruiting Manager to lead a team of recruiters while remaining hands-on in client delivery and search execution. The role is hybrid with a minimum of two on-site days per week at our Troy office, and a track record of driving recruiting performance is required.

You will coach and develop recruiters, prioritize roles, and ensure high-quality candidate experiences across professional searches, with a focus on engineering and finance/accounting domains preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of staffing industry experience.
• Strong background in direct-hire staffing, professional search, or executive search.
• Previous recruiting leadership or team management experience.
• Documented track record of success in recruiting and client delivery.

• Maintain high standards for candidate quality, communication, urgency, and client experience.

Due to this rapid growth StaffBright is seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead a team of professional recruiters while remaining actively involved in client delivery and search execution. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to drive recruiting performance, develop people, and consistently deliver strong results for clients.

This role is hybrid and requires minimum 2 days on site in our Troy office each week.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters focused on professional direct-hire searches
• Drive accountability around recruiting activity, candidate quality, client delivery, and placements
• Partner with recruiters on difficult or high-priority searches to ensure strong client fulfillment

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of staffing industry experience
• Strong background in direct-hire staffing, professional search, or executive search
• Previous recruiting leadership or team management experience
• Documented track record of success in recruiting and client delivery
• Experience recruiting within Engineering and/or Finance & Accounting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of sourcing, recruiting strategy, candidate management, and closing
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop recruiters
• Passion for helping others grow and advance in their careers
• Competitive, accountable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
