Job summary

StaffBright in Detroit is seeking a Recruiting Manager to lead a team of recruiters while remaining hands-on in client delivery and search execution. The role is hybrid with a minimum of two on-site days per week at our Troy office, and a track record of driving recruiting performance is required.

You will coach and develop recruiters, prioritize roles, and ensure high-quality candidate experiences across professional searches, with a focus on engineering and finance/accounting domains preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of staffing industry experience.
• Strong background in direct-hire staffing, professional search, or executive search.
• Previous recruiting leadership or team management experience.
• Documented track record of success in recruiting and client delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters focused on direct-hire searches.
• Drive accountability around recruiting activity, candidate quality, client delivery, and placements.
• Partner with recruiters on difficult or high-priority searches to ensure client fulfillment.
• Help prioritize open positions and allocate recruiting resources across the team.
• Train and mentor recruiters to improve sourcing, interviewing, and closing skills.
• Maintain high standards for candidate quality, communication, urgency, and client experience.
• Recruit directly on key searches when needed.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on teamwork and growth.
