Job summary

The Senior Recruitment Consultant will join Cobalt Recruitment's Construction team in New York. You will build and own a construction desk, sourcing top candidates and winning clients to grow revenue and reputation.

You will develop specialist market knowledge, cross-sell services across the group, and mentor junior consultants as you expand your own desk within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment experience within the New York construction market is highly preferred.
• Track record of billing and managing a desk independently, with the ambition to grow it further.
• Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and account manager.
• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to cross-sell across teams, disciplines and Cobalt locations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a commercial approach to agreeing terms of business.

• Manage client accounts end-to-end, pulling in Cobalt's other locations, teams and disciplines to maximize revenue and deliver a first-class service.
• Take part in internal training, and support the development of junior consultants as you grow your own desk.
• Negotiate and agree commercially viable terms of business with new clients.
