Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter -- US Hiring who can independently own and drive end-to-end recruitment for technology and professional positions across the US market.

The ideal candidate must be a strong hands‑on recruiter with excellent sourcing capabilities, solid experience working with recruitment vendors, and a high level of ownership and accountability for position closures.

This is not a coordination-only role. The recruiter is expected to actively source candidates, build pipelines, work with vendors, engage hiring managers, and take complete responsibility for assigned positions from requirement intake through closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage end-to-end recruitment for US-based positions.
  • Understand requirements directly from hiring managers and translate them into an effective sourcing strategy.
  • Proactively source candidates through:
  • LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Job boards
  • Internal databases
  • Employee referrals
  • Networking and direct sourcing
  • Recruitment vendors
  • Build strong candidate pipelines for niche and critical positions.
  • Screen candidates for technical fit, experience, communication skills, compensation, availability, work authorization, and overall suitability.
  • Take complete ownership and accountability for assigned positions and closures.
  • Work closely with recruitment vendors and staffing partners to generate relevant profiles.
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure quality, turnaround time, and submission standards.
  • Coordinate interviews while maintaining continuous engagement with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Drive candidates through the entire recruitment lifecycle --- sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, acceptance, and joining.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as submissions, interviews, offers, closures, ageing positions, and source effectiveness.
  • Provide regular and transparent updates to hiring managers and leadership.
  • Identify potential hiring challenges early and proactively develop alternative sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain strong candidate relationships and minimize offer dropouts and no-shows.
  • Ensure recruitment databases and ATS records are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the US talent market, compensation trends, candidate availability, and hiring practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8--12 years of recruitment experience , with significant experience in US hiring / US staffing.
  • Strong experience handling technology and IT positions across different skill sets.
  • Proven ability to independently handle multiple requirements and drive them to closure.
  • Excellent hands‑on sourcing skills using LinkedIn, job portals, Boolean searches, databases, referrals, and direct sourcing.
  • Strong experience managing and working with recruitment vendors / staffing partners.
  • Good understanding of the US recruitment lifecycle and US employment market.
  • Understanding of common US work authorizations such as US Citizen, Green Card, H-1B, H-4 EAD, L2 EAD, OPT, and CPT.
  • Strong candidate screening and assessment capabilities.
  • Good understanding of contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent hiring models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong sense of urgency, ownership, commitment, and accountability.
Key Expectations

The successful candidate should be someone who:

  • Does not depend only on vendors for profiles and is willing to source candidates independently.
  • Takes complete ownership of every assigned requirement.
  • Consistently follows up with candidates, vendors, and hiring managers.
  • Focuses on closures rather than only submissions or activity metrics.
  • Is comfortable working on difficult and niche positions.
  • Can prioritize multiple open positions based on business urgency.
  • Proactively raises risks and sourcing challenges instead of waiting for escalation.
  • Demonstrates a strong delivery mindset and accountability for results.
Working Hours

The position requires working in alignment with the US (CST/PST) business hours to ensure effective coordination with US-based hiring managers, candidates, clients, and recruitment partners.

Candidates should be comfortable working consistently during the required US shift.

Preferred Background
  • Experience recruiting for Data Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, Software Engineering, Enterprise Applications, and other technology roles.
  • Experience working in a technology consulting, IT services, staffing, or product organization.
  • Experience dealing directly with US-based hiring managers and leadership teams.
  • Strong network of candidates and staffing vendors in the US market.
What We're Looking For

We need a hands‑on recruiter, not just a recruitment coordinator.

The person should be able to take a requirement, understand the market, create the sourcing strategy, source independently, leverage vendors where required, engage candidates, drive interviews, and stay accountable until the position is successfully closed.
