Job summary

Turrentine Talent Advisors is seeking a driven Senior Recruiter to own a full recruiting desk from end to end in Houston. You’ll develop business, source and recruit talent, close candidates, and own the results of your desk with autonomous control inside an established firm.

You’ll have support, resources, and an infrastructure to back your efforts while maintaining the independence to run your desk like a small business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience running a full-desk recruiting or staffing desk.
• Experience winning new clients and generating their own business.
• Track record of personally sourcing and placing candidates.
• Comfortable with cold calling, business development, and prospecting.
• Sales-oriented and money motivated.
• Grit and persistence to push through setbacks and close deals.
• Confident building relationships with executives, hiring managers, and candidates.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches and client relationships.
• Takes ownership of numbers, pipeline, and results.
• Wants autonomy and earning potential of running their own business within an established recruiting firm.

Responsibilities

• Own your full desk from business development through candidate placement.
• Identify, prospect, and develop new client relationships.
• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with hiring managers and companies.
• Source, identify, interview, and present qualified candidates.
• Manage the recruiting process from initial client contact through offer acceptance.
• Develop a strong network of candidates and industry contacts.
• Negotiate offers and close both clients and candidates.
• Manage your pipeline, activity, and revenue with ownership.
• Continuously develop new business while growing existing client relationships.
• Utilize provided tools and resources to grow your desk.
