Job summary

Interstates is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead full‑lifecycle recruiting nationwide, focusing on proactive sourcing and headhunting for field leadership, traveling, and specialized technical roles. You will partner with hiring managers to build strong talent pipelines and ensure a high‑quality candidate experience.

You will source actively and passively, maintain relationships with candidates, and leverage ATS and analytics to drive hiring decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent
• Four+ years recruiting experience across multiple disciplines and levels
• Proactive sourcing and headhunting success
• Experience identifying, engaging passive candidates via targeted outreach
• Experience recruiting nationally for field-based, traveling, leadership, construction, industrial, or technical roles
• Experience using ATS, sourcing platforms, and recruiting analytics tools
• Strong relationship-building, communication, influence, and consultative skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and build credibility with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle recruiting for national roles from sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Proactively source and headhunt high-quality talent using targeted strategies.
• Build and maintain pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Recruit nationally for traveling field leadership, construction, industrial, and technical roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Advise on talent markets, compensation expectations, and sourcing approaches.
• Develop and maintain relationships with candidates through all recruiting stages.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience from outreach to onboarding.
• Utilize ATS, sourcing platforms, analytics to support recruiting decisions.
• Continuously improve sourcing strategies, tools, and interview processes.
• Use market insights and metrics to evaluate recruiting effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
