Interstates is hiring a Senior Recruiter to lead full‑lifecycle recruiting for national roles across the United States. You will proactively source, headhunt, and build pipelines for traveling field leadership, construction, and specialized technical positions.

You will partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop tailored strategies, and drive a strong candidate experience. This fast‑paced role offers remote options within the Midwest and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Four+ years recruiting across multiple disciplines and levels.
• Proactive sourcing and headhunting experience.
• Experience engaging passive candidates through targeted outreach.
• Recruiting nationally for field leadership, traveling, construction, industrial, or technical roles.
• Experience using ATS, sourcing platforms, and recruiting analytics tools.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and consultative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead full‑lifecycle recruiting for national roles from sourcing to offer.
• Proactively source and headhunt high-quality talent across disciplines and locations.
• Build and maintain pipelines of passive and active candidates for current and future needs.
• Recruit nationally for traveling field leadership and technical roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored strategies.
• Advise teams on talent markets, candidate availability, and compensation expectations.
• Develop relationships with candidates throughout the process and beyond.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience from outreach to onboarding.
• Utilize ATS, sourcing platforms, analytics, and recruiting tech to support processes.
• Continuously improve sourcing strategies and hiring practices.
