Job summary

Interstates is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead full-lifecycle recruiting for national roles, from sourcing to offer negotiation. You will proactively headhunt high-quality talent, build strong pipelines for field leadership and technical positions, and partner with managers to align staffing with business needs.

You will drive sourcing strategies, advise on compensation expectations, and ensure a superior candidate experience from outreach through onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Four+ years of recruiting experience across multiple disciplines and organizational levels.
• Proven success in proactive sourcing and headhunting.
• Experience identifying and engaging passive candidates through targeted outreach and relationship building.
• Experience recruiting nationally for field leadership, traveling, construction, industrial, or specialized technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle recruiting for national roles, from sourcing through interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.
• Proactively source and headhunt high-quality talent using creative, targeted strategies.
• Build and maintain pipelines of passive and active candidates for current and future needs.
• Recruit nationally for traveling field leadership, construction, industrial, and specialized technical roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and tailor recruiting strategies.
• Advise hiring teams on talent markets, candidate availability, compensation expectations, and sourcing approaches.
• Develop relationships with candidates throughout the process and beyond.
• Ensure a positive, responsive candidate experience from outreach to onboarding.
• Utilize ATS, sourcing platforms, recruiting analytics, and other tools to support sourcing and decision-making.
• Continuously improve sourcing strategies and interview processes and stay compliant with laws.
